  1. 1. So far so good. This probably needs to be a later question so we can hear more of it.
    2. It's early, but I am very excited to have CITN in the area. We need to find ways to spread the word and get people out to join us.
    3. Biltmore is a fine place to meet for now. I've always loved the building, even when it was in poor shape, I thought it had character.
    4. Yes, about 20 miles closer.
    5. No I haven't, but it is what I've been searching for. It's very different and more loving that the Hardshell Southern Baptist that I was subjected to as a child.
    6. Absolutely and are trying to get some of them to join us. Thursday isn't a traditional church day, so many have other commitments.
    7. Any day is fine with me. I think we need to determine what fits the "crowd" best and go for that day. I loved the full house we had on the first night!
    8. We could advertise in some of the local rags and newspapers. When the weather is cooler, I'd suggest a tent service in Piedmont Park where everyone could bring a picnic; make it fun.
    9. I've participated in the Atlanta AIDS Walk and think it supports several worthwhile charities.
    10. I did attend Pilgramage UCC, but have moved to CITN (East originally, but Midtown now).
    11. Friends who attend. I was reluctant to try it at first. Then I agreed to attend School of the Bible 5 with a friend and was hooked!
    12. Definitely!
    13. Very much so!
    14. I don't have kids, so it doesn't matter to me.
    15. I do and will continue to do so.
    16. I would like to get involved and would also like to see our church get involved in "our" community.
    17. Yes I do. Many services are tailored to me and situations in my life.
    18. The fresh view on religion and that God is love as opposed to all the hatred I was taught previously.
    19.
    20. Yes, I'll be there.

Be Yourself and dont apologize!.....yes I'd like to be more involved in the church and not just a seat warmer upper.....I'd want to have dinner with mother Theresa and Joan Rivers at the same time and compare their "theologies"......The Jetsons.....Matchbox (i had solo many and used to "ride" them over a plaid bedspread and pretend the lines were streets)......Jeanie and Ginger-they had more fun....Pepsi...glass ALWAYS full and rose colored....really enjoy the smaller crowd atmosphere/more intimate setting and is more what I'm used to......Love the playlist and think a social outing group might be cool to events plays shows yadayada........personally ...I am really hoping the church fills the niche for the gay community....this is the community I have a burdened heart for. 10. we need more preaching and less story telling. also did not like the end of last nights service. i didn't feel confortable and left early, just not to this point yet. it would have been better to go to the front if you wanted someone to pray with you. pls dont push me/us away.

    ReplyDelete
  11. Wow...ok...thanks...

  12. That person does not speak for everyone. I personally needed to pray for someone so that I could release the annointing within me. You never know when someone is going through something and they may be too shy to ask for prayer or to walk to the front. sometimes that can be the longest 10 steps of your life.
